Please be advise the KDCA Spring Meeting, as scheduled for May 1,2020 is
put on “hold” until such time as all Canada wide advisories are further
elaborated upon by the offices of the Prime Minister of Canada and the
Premier of Ontario. This step is being taken to insure those of us in
the tourism industry continue to do our part to see the worldwide
pandemic of the corona virus does not become a further threat to
ourselves, our customers, our business entities, our local communities
and our way of life.
It is hoped within a period of two weeks these matters will be clarified
and thus enable us to make an informed decision with respects to the
status of the Spring Meeting. In the meantime I would encourage each of
you to be vigilant and keep abreast of the fast changing events as well
as taking the necessary actions to insure your safety and well-being.
